PUBLIC & INTIMATE TYPOGRAPHY

DESCRIPTION

The task within the studio was to interpret intimate and public typography. Based on this concept, the goal was to create a project that addresses both aspects, using a text about Fryderyk Chopin. For me, intimate typography is represented by a leaflet consisting of four parts, forming a total A3 format. A key element of the project is the outer flaps, which, when folded, create a cohesive image. The lines arranged in the form of a musical staff, along with the word "Chopin" placed on them, symbolize musical notes. Public typography consists of a maximum of three connected panels or one long board that accommodates the entire project. These boards are positioned at the viewer’s eye level, allowing for full engagement with the content. This concept scales the project up, adapting it to a public space
